The ASK List Server is a mailing list service for the Audubon Society of Kentucky to share information and local bird sightings.
Here's how it works. Once you subscribe, you will receive as an email any posts made by any member of the list server. You can also post to the list server address and your post will automatically be sent to all other subscribers of the list service.. Currently there is not a significant amount of traffic on our list server, so you can expect around 2-3 messages per week. If you find that the list server is not for you, you can unsubscribe at any time.
Details on how to subscribe, unsubscribe and post are as follows. You can contact the list owner if you have questions. The list owner is David Lang at de_lang@bellsouth.net.

FORMAT OF MESSAGES :
SUBJECT LINE: If the topic is new, choose a brief, informative title. Remember that many people (and many search engines) look for key words in the subject line, so give some thought to this often-ignored aspect of your message. Do not leave subject line blank. If your post falls into any of the following categories, please use these formats:
RE: [subject] -- Reply to previous post (do not change or edit subject unless the topic changes significantly
from the original).
RFI: [subject] -- Request for information
RPT: [place name] -- Report of interesting birds or a trip report
RBA: [species, location] -- Rare Bird Alert
